Over the past few months, the staff of the Good Shepherd has undergone significant change. A number of staff members have left due to retirements and personal commitments. We have been quite fortunate to re-staff every position with incredibly well qualified men and women, giving the staff the capacity to support additional growth. Meet the new staff:
is Operations Manager. Darrell has been the manager of the Rental Ministry and now broadens his portfolio to include all of the operations of the Church including Buildings & Grounds, Communications and security. He will continue in his role as Rental Manager.
has joined the staff as Administrative Assistant to Darrell for the purpose of managing all of the Church’s communications efforts, including the Sunday bulletin, e-Shepherd Staff, website and social media. Darlene previously worked as a Christian Education Administrator and has many years of service as a church volunteer. She is the proud mother of adult children Chelsea and Carter. Darlene will be in the office Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
is now the church’s Financial Manager and as such is responsible for keeping the book, paying the bills and for the database.
who filled in as interim head of Children’s Ministries has now accepted a permanent position with us. Diana will be responsible for the education of our younger children.
I hope that you will have a chance to meet the members of our staff who you do not already know soon. They are terrific and important in the furtherance of God’s kingdom in this place.
